These Buffalo Chicken Taquitos are a game-changer for party snacks, combining tangy buffalo sauce, creamy cheese, and tender chicken in a crispy tortilla. Perfect for gatherings or casual get-togethers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • Small flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, buffalo sauce, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and chopped green onions. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Warm your small flour tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Microwave them for about 10 seconds each, or wrap them in foil and place them in a warm oven for a few minutes.
  4. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the buffalo chicken mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Roll them tightly into taquitos and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray the tops of the taquitos with cooking spray or brush them with olive oil for a crispy texture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy. Rotate the taquitos halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Warm tortillas before rolling to prevent tearing. Adjust spice level by using milder or spicier buffalo sauce. Rotate taquitos halfway through baking for even crispiness.
