  • A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • A small handful of chopped walnuts or almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Greek yogurt, banana, honey, and optional add-ins.
  2. Place 1 cup (240 ml) of Greek yogurt in a mixing bowl. Stir if watery to redistribute cream.
  3. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon if using, and stir gently to combine.
  4. Peel and slice the banana into thin rounds or half-moons.
  5. Layer the banana slices over the yogurt.
  6. Drizzle 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of honey over the banana and yogurt.
  7. Sprinkle chia seeds and chopped nuts if desired.
  8. Give a final gentle stir or serve as-is.
  9. Serve immediately for best taste; can be enjoyed chilled if prepared ahead.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness and best flavor. Avoid watery or low-fat Greek yogurt for creaminess. Drizzle honey last to preserve its texture and flavor.
