This creamy feta dip blends tangy feta, smooth cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and punchy grinder spices for a bold, zesty cheese spread. Perfect for parties, snacking, or as a Mediterranean-inspired appetizer, it comes together in minutes and is endlessly customizable.

  • 8 oz block feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grinder spice mix (black pepper, red pepper flakes, Italian herbs, dried onion, garlic salt)
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or chives; basil or mint optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Allow cream cheese and feta to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Place feta cheese, cream cheese, and Greek yogurt into a food processor or blender. Pulse for 20 seconds to break up the cheese.
  3. Drizzle in olive oil and add lemon juice. Blend on high for 1 minute, scraping down the sides as needed. If too thick, add 1-2 tbsp yogurt or a splash of water.
  4. Add minced garlic, grinder spice mix, and honey (if using). Pulse again for 15-20 seconds. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Add chopped fresh herbs and pulse just until combined, or fold in by hand for a chunkier texture.
  6. Transfer dip to a serving bowl. Cover and chill for 30 minutes to let flavors meld, or serve immediately.
  7. If dip is grainy, blend for an additional 30 seconds. For a thicker dip, add more cream cheese or feta. If it separates, whip on high until smooth.
  8. Top with a drizzle of olive oil, extra grinder spices, and fresh herbs. Serve with crackers, toasted baguette, veggie sticks, or pita chips.

Notes

Use block feta for best texture; pre-crumbled feta tends to be dry. Let ingredients come to room temperature for easier blending. Customize with roasted peppers, fresh mint, or dairy-free substitutes. Make ahead for deeper flavor; chill for at least 30 minutes. For a baked variation, broil the dip for 3 minutes until golden.
