Crescent Roll Sandwich Bake - featured image

A flaky, cheesy, and customizable crescent roll bake filled with deli meats and gooey cheese, perfect for busy families or any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Deli meats (turkey, ham, or roast beef)
  • Cheese slices (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)
  • Condiments (Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, or cream cheese)
  • 1 egg beaten with a splash of water (egg wash)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough tube and unroll the dough. Press the seams together to create a single sheet. Use a rolling pin if needed to flatten and shape the dough to fit your dish.
  3. Place half of the crescent roll dough into the baking dish, pressing it down gently to cover the base.
  4. Layer deli meats and cheeses evenly on top of the dough. Spread a thin layer of your chosen condiment over the cheese for added flavor.
  5. Lay the second half of the crescent roll dough over the fillings, carefully pressing the edges to seal the bake.
  6. Brush the top layer of dough with egg wash using a pastry brush. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and flaky.
  8. Let the dish cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm and enjoy!
