A quick and easy air fryer recipe that delivers crispy, golden corn on the cob with a subtle caramelized sweetness, perfect for summer sides and busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C), about 3-5 minutes depending on your model.
  2. Remove husks and silk thoroughly from the corn. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush the corn evenly with melted butter, ensuring every kernel is coated but not dripping.
  4. Season the corn with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  5. Place the corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between ears for air circulation.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping the corn halfway through with tongs. Check after 8 minutes if your air fryer runs hot to avoid burning.
  7. Remove the corn carefully and brush again with a small amount of melted butter for extra shine and flavor.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Keep the corn dry before buttering to ensure crispiness. Flip halfway through cooking for even browning. Adjust cooking time by 2-3 minutes for extra crunch but watch closely to avoid drying out. For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with melted coconut oil or plant-based spread. Fresh herbs should be added as garnish after cooking to avoid bitterness.
