This easy, no-bake summer dessert combines creamy cheesecake filling with sweet cherry pie filling and fluffy whipped topping for a light, tangy-sweet treat. Perfect for potlucks, barbecues, or any occasion when you need a quick, crowd-pleasing dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip or similar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or 2 cups fresh cherries + 1/4 cup cherry syrup)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional)
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted (optional)
  • Zest from 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take cream cheese out of the fridge and let it soften at room temperature for 30–45 minutes, or microwave for 10–15 seconds until soft but not melted.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until silky and lump-free. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Add vanilla extract and blend for 15 seconds.
  4. Gently fold in thawed whipped topping with a rubber spatula until just combined and fluffy. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries and cherry syrup). For a marbled effect, swirl gently instead of fully mixing.
  6. If desired, fold in mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, slivered almonds, or lemon zest for added texture and flavor.
  7. Cover bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving (longer chilling yields fluffier texture).
  8. Spoon into serving dish or individual bowls. Garnish with extra cherries, graham cracker crumbs, or whipped topping. Serve chilled.

Notes

For best results, always use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps. Gently fold in whipped topping to keep the texture light and airy. Swirl cherry filling for a marbled look. Chill for at least an hour before serving for optimal fluffiness. Easily customize with different fruits, nuts, or add-ins. Make ahead for parties; leftovers keep well for up to 3 days in the fridge.
