  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water, pat dry with a paper towel, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt completely.
  4. Once butter foams slightly, add garlic mixture to the skillet. Stir constantly for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  6. Remove skillet from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley over shrimp. Toss gently to coat shrimp in the buttery garlic sauce.
  7. Serve immediately with steamed rice, crusty bread, or your favorite sides.

Notes

Cook shrimp in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan. Taste the sauce and adjust salt or lemon juice as desired.
