Tender, juicy chicken smothered in a rich ranch-infused sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends when you want comfort food without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced evenly
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (approximately 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts evenly into thinner pieces to ensure even cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of ranch seasoning.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the chicken pieces in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Whisk in the heavy cream, remaining ranch seasoning, and garlic powder.
  4. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and let it thicken for about 5 minutes. If it looks too thick, add a splash of chicken broth to loosen it up.
  5. Place the seared chicken back into the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over each piece. Cover and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
  6. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the chicken before serving for a burst of color and freshness.

Notes

Use evenly sized chicken pieces to ensure even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing the chicken. Adjust seasoning to suit your taste preferences.
