A cool, crisp, and fruity white wine peach sangria perfect for summer gatherings, combining fresh peaches, citrus, and a splash of sparkling water for a refreshing twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium orange, sliced into rounds
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peach schnapps (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup (or honey/agave syrup)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water
  • A handful fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash peaches, orange, and lemon thoroughly. Thinly slice peaches, removing the pit, and slice citrus into rounds or half-moons.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine and peach schnapps. Stir gently to blend.
  3. Add sliced peaches, orange, and lemon to the pitcher. Pour in simple syrup and stir gently to distribute sweetness evenly. Taste and adjust syrup if desired.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the fruit infuse the wine. For best flavor, chill for about 2 hours.
  5. Just before serving, stir in sparkling water to add fizz. Add fresh mint leaves and ice cubes if desired. Serve chilled in glasses with fruit slices.

Notes

Use dry white wine with crisp acidity for best balance. Chill sangria for at least 1 hour to infuse flavors. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Frozen peaches can be used if fresh are unavailable, but thaw and drain excess juice. Adjust sweetness gradually. Avoid stirring vigorously to preserve bubbles.
