Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough (Pillsbury preferred)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 large garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano-Reggiano recommended)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 10-inch bundt pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make garlic butter.
  3. Open refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  4. Place dough pieces in a large bowl and pour garlic butter over them. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the coated dough pieces and toss lightly.
  6. Transfer dough pieces into the greased bundt pan, spreading evenly without packing tightly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until top is golden brown and crispy.
  8. While baking, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, fresh chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to prepare the creamy ranch dip. Refrigerate until serving.
  9. Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
  10. Serve warm with the creamy ranch dip on the side.

Notes

If the bread feels doughy in the center, bake a few more minutes. Letting it cool slightly helps the cheese set and prevents sliding. Use an oven thermometer for accurate temperature. Rotate pan halfway through baking for even cooking. Refrigerate dip for at least 15 minutes before serving. For gluten-free, use almond flour biscuit dough; for vegan, substitute vegan butter and dairy-free cheese and sour cream alternatives.
