Vanilla Cranberry Crush Mocktail - featured image

A festive, non-alcoholic winter drink featuring tart cranberry juice, smooth vanilla, and sparkling water, garnished with citrus and mint. Perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy nights in, this mocktail is quick to make and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cranberry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice (optional, can substitute lemon or lime juice)
  • 1 cup sparkling water, chilled
  • 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup (to taste; substitute agave or maple syrup for vegan)
  • Ice cubes
  • 68 fresh cranberries per glass (for garnish)
  • Orange or lime slices (for garnish)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Measure out cranberry juice, vanilla extract, orange juice, sparkling water, and honey or syrup. Slice oranges or limes into thin rounds, and rinse fresh cranberries and mint leaves.
  2. In a large pitcher or mixing jug, combine cranberry juice, vanilla extract, orange juice, and honey (or syrup). Stir gently with a long spoon until the honey dissolves completely.
  3. Pour in the chilled sparkling water. Stir slowly to keep the fizz lively but not too frothy.
  4. Taste and adjust: sample your mocktail and add more honey, a splash of orange juice, or a few drops of vanilla if desired. For extra tartness, squeeze in a fresh lime wedge.
  5. Fill each glass halfway with ice cubes. Optionally, rub an orange slice around the rim for extra aroma.
  6. Carefully pour the mocktail into each glass. Top with fresh cranberries, a slice of orange or lime, and a mint leaf for color.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy! For parties, set up a garnish station so guests can customize their drinks.

Notes

Chill all ingredients before mixing for maximum refreshment. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep the bubbles lively. Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste. For vegan, use agave or maple syrup instead of honey. Frozen cranberries make a beautiful garnish and keep drinks cold. Make the base ahead and add sparkling water when ready to serve.
